QMS was established in 1993 to provide a certification process that was like no other, we believed in our philosophy to ‘Keep it Simple’ and that’s exactly what we did. Before QMS existed the certification process was renowned for being time consuming, long-winded and costly. Typically a consultant would spend 6-9 months assessing an organisation’s management process before the organisation could even consider approaching a certification body to achieve certification.

When QMS took the initiative to combine these procedures, not only did we simplify the certification process, but we made it affordable and practical for a greater range of organisations. The QMS process has been so effective, we have successfully issued more than 20,000 certifications in 60 countries and our process has since been adopted by a number of other certification bodies.

Over the years QMS’s efforts have been commended and we have received a number of prestigious awards, our most recent additions in 2011, are The Green Apple Award, for ‘Environmental Best Practice’ and The Arch of Europe Award, ‘recognising quality and excellence in companies’.
