ISO 28000Supply Chain Security Management System
Manage security risks throughout the supply chain
Security Management has become an increasing challenge for industries worldwide, but is more commonly a challenge within supply chains. This is because supply chain partners are often located in varying locations worldwide, meaning that they are subject to varying regulations and processes.
ISO 28000 specifies the requirements for a security management system in the supply chain, covering those aspects which are critical to security assurance. It will help you to identify potential threats, control and influence activities that impact on supply chain security, including the transportation of goods, and ensure continuity of business.
How businesses have benefitted from Standards
I must compliment you on your ease of explanation and the expertise you used to cut to the core. Thereby giving a guide so that we may put together the final overall documents tying much more cohesively our systems. I would recommend at any time.Ken McCormick, Managing Director
As last year, it was great to have an auditor who not only reviewed all our evidence, but was also so well-informed on the standard, and able to offer useful advice.Sarah Gordon, Associate Director
How to get ISO 28000
Getting certified to ISO 20252 is quick and straightforward. Our expert consultants will work with you and your business to make the process as simple and easy as possible – highlighting and assisting you in making the necessary improvements to your current business processes.
Our 3-stage certification process ensures that you are assisted along every step in the process, and we even create your ‘Market & Social Research Management System Manual’ for you, saving you time and money.
Once you have achieved certification you must pass an annual audit to make sure your business stays on track. This fourth, and final, stage in the process happens one years after your certification.
A QMS Consultant will visit your Organisation to review and document your current processes and procedures, highlighting any areas that do not meet the requirements of the Standard.
Now it's time to make sure any required process or procedural changes are made, as highlighted in the Review. QMS can provide templates to assist you in doing this.
An Auditor must now visit your Organisation to check that the documented processes are being followed and that the necessary changes have been made. Once they are satisfied, you will be awarded your certification.
