The requirements of ISO 31000

As a Risk Management Framework Standard, you cannot be directly certified to the ISO Standard.  We have taken the risk management framework in the Standard and converted this into a fully-functional Management System certification scheme.   Certification for ISO 31000 is optional; you can, if you wish, opt for implementation only. Either way, our expert consultants will make the process as straightforward as possible for you. This includes helping your business make any necessary changes to its processes.

Our 3-stage certification scheme process ensures you get the help you need at every step. We can even create your Risk Management Manual for you, saving you time and money.

Once you have achieved certification to the Citation ISO Certification Scheme, you will need to pass an audit each year. This is to ensure your business continues to benefit from the ISO 31000 Certification Scheme risk management framework. Your first audit will be one year after you receive your certificate.

A very honest approach to our audit and one where the topics were discussed in full and from all aspects. [The Consultant] is an excellent Auditor and really takes the time to listen and appreciate how the sections in the manual work for us. A sensible and refreshing view is taken. An audit where we take a lot from the meeting and look to develop the procedures and become even more efficient at running the business. A very worthwhile and useful day. Thank you.

We have gained new national contracts as well as acceptance from some clients who insisted on their suppliers having ISO certification. Internally, it has definitely given us a good framework to build on and strengthened our processes. We would definitely recommend QMS to other businesses and would like to work with them again on putting more systems in place.
