What is ISO 45001?

ISO 45001 is the international Standard for Occupational Health & Safety Management. It offers a framework for organisations to follow should they wish to improve their OH&S performance.

Looking at the top management of an organisation, it helps businesses create a safe and healthy workplace for employees and visitors. This is achieved by controlling the various factors that might result in illness or injury, such as the physical, mental and cognitive condition of a person.

ISO 45001 also uses the Annex SL structure meaning it can be easily integrated with other ISO Standards such as ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management).
