Barnes Webster celebrate 20th Annual Audit with QMS

QMS International are proud to have successfully completed the 20th annual audit of their longest standing ISO certified client, Barnes Webster.

QMS Chief Executive, Jonathan Chapman, is proud of this mementos milestone “Barnes Webster have demonstrated for 20 years that they conform to the quality management principles of ISO 9001, and we are delighted to once again be renewing their certification. It is incredible to think they held one of the first certificates QMS ever issued and that both companies are still going from strength to strength, it is a testament to both management teams and the benefits of ISO certification.”

Barnes Webster provide health & safety controls and programme management to Organisations within the construction industry. Managing director, Adrian Webster, looks back at their original decision to choose QMS ‘Back in 1994 we decided it was necessary to have a formal quality system in place, this was mainly due to our clients being in the public sector where ISO certification is expected, if not required. We were shocked at the lead times and costs other Consultants and Certification Bodies were quoting us, but then we came across QMS, who were offering a more cost effective and speedier approach and since then it has played a significant part in the growth of our business.”

Managing director of QMS, Peter Gamble, added “It is hard to believe that 20 years have passed since I first visited Jim Webster and his son Adrian at Barnes Webster.
